Frequently Asked Questions
What are your pronouns?
Thanks for asking! Chelsea uses she/her pronouns, and Rosie uses they/them.
What materials do you use?
We use skin safe, platinum-cure silicone and body safe pigments. Our toys are non-toxic and phthalate free.
How do I clean my toy?
Your toy is easily cleaned using antibacterial soap and water. You can also boil your toy for 3-5 minutes, or run it through your dishwasher on the top rack without detergent. We recommend letting your toy air dry, as silicone easily gathers lint.
What lubricant is safe to use with my toy?
Our toys are best enjoyed with water based or oil based lubricant. Do not use silicone-based lube with our toys, as this can compromise the material.
How do I store my toy?
We recommend storing in an airtight container, as silicone can be a lint magnet and cloth can dull the surface of silicone over time. Please do not store in prolonged direct sunlight, as this can cause colors to fade. Your toy is safe to store alongside other items that are 100% silicone, glass, steel, plastic, or wood.
Do you make custom shapes?
Nope! It would take forever and cost a fortune.
Is your shipping discreet?
Sure is! Our toys are shipped in either a plain brown box or a standard USPS box. Smaller items, such as butt plugs, are shipped in a plain bubble envelope.
Do you accept returns?
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes! We offer wholesale prices to progressive shops that share our sex positive principles. If you are interested in setting up a wholesale account, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Will you make a dildo from my penis?
No. Stop asking.
How firm/soft is your silicone?
Our silicone has a bit of bend and squish, but is on the firmer side: shore 20A.
What do I do if my package is lost or stolen?
Unfortunatey, Portland Toy Company is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once you have received an email with your tracking information, please contact USPS with inquiries about the location of your package.
